The Rector of the   Miguel Hernández  University (UMH) of Elche, Jesús Pastor Ciruana, and the Vicerector of Institutional Relations , María Teresa Pérez Vázquez, have  delivered to the Director of the San José Obrero Foundation, Vicente Martínez Agulló, 400 kg of non-perishable food this morning. These goods are donations from   the attendees of  the charitable concert which was arranged by the UMH for celebrating its XV Anniversary on the last 13th of July.

The aim of the San José Obrero Foundation is to facilitate the social integration of children coming from family abandonment situations, distress, maladjustment, poverty and exclusion. The Foundation gives shelter to 70 children in its Residences of Orihuela and Elche, in which educators try to create a familylike surrounding for them.
