II National Symposium on Clinical and Health Psychology with Children and Adolescents

The Rector of the UMH, Jesús T. Pastor Ciurana, closed the 2nd Symposium on Clinical and Health Psychology with Children and Adolescents at 1:30 p.m. During the ceremony, the “Aitana” Award, the Juan Perán Foundation Award, and the Pearson Award were presented to the best papers submitted to the symposium.

The Miguel Hernández University (UMH) of Elche has awarded the “Aitana Prize” to Professor Victoria del Barrio of the National University of Distance Education (UNED) for her contribution to Child Clinical Psychology. The “Aitana Prize” is a distinction awarded by the UMH to recognize the professional contributions of outstanding researchers and clinicians for their work in promoting the well-being of children and young people through the development of psychopathology, assessment, and treatment of child and adolescent problems. The Rector of the UMH, Jesús Tadeo Pastor Ciurana, will present the award at the closing ceremony of the “II Symposium on Clinical and Health Psychology with Children and Adolescents,” which will take place on November 23 in the Aula Magna of the Altabix building, located on the Elche campus.

The Research Group on Analysis, Intervention, and Applied Therapy in Children and Adolescents (AITANA) at the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) of Elche has organized the ‘II National Symposium on Clinical and Health Psychology with Children and Adolescents,’ which will bring together more than 400 psychologists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals. The event will take place on November 21, 22, and 23 in the Aula Magna of the Altabix Building on the Elche campus.
