The Ministry of Finance and Public Administration awards the UMH a recognition for Innovation in Management
The Miguel Hernández University (UMH) has been awarded the University Management Innovation Week prize, a project managed by the Quality Service, which reports to the Vice-Rectorate for Institutional Relations, and promoted by the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Innovation and the University Administration. The Rector of UMH, Jesús Pastor Ciurana, accepted the award at a ceremony held this morning in Madrid.
Also present at the ceremony were the Vice-Rector for Institutional Relations, María Teresa Pérez Vázquez; the Vice-Rector for Planning, Fernando Borrás; the Director of the Quality Service, David León Espí; and Quality Service technician Juan Carlos Rodríguez Vidal.
The Innovation in Management Award recognizes innovative practices that develop initiatives to improve the organization, efficiency, and management processes. This award is aimed at organizations within Spanish public administrations, which are evaluated according to the EFQM Excellence Model criteria.
