(Español) Entrega de los premios de Innovación en la Gestión, las Ayudas de Excelencia Académica y los Premios al Talento Docente 2017

The Rector of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH), Jesús Pastor Ciurana, presented the awards for the 4th edition of the “UMH University Management Innovation Week,” the UMH Teaching Talent Awards, and the Academic Excellence Grants. The winning projects of the 4th edition of the “UMH University Management Innovation Week” awards, each worth €2,000, were: “In.Forma-T,” led by María del Carmen García Juan from the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences in Elche; “Open ContratUMH,” presented by Roberto Teruel Martínez from the Contracting Service; and “Spotify UMH. Much More Than Music!” by Asunción Niñoles Galvañ from the Communications Service. The implemented ideas from the 1st edition, Linux4UMH and Artis, were also recognized.

These awards recognize the service provided by administrative and service staff (PAS) and are part of the UMH Quality Service, which reports to the Vice-Rectorate for Institutional Relations and is supported by the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Innovation and University Management. In addition, the 25 students with the best academic records received a grant of €1,000 for academic excellence.

The Vice-Rectorate for Faculty has awarded 75 UMH Teaching Talent prizes, each worth €1,500. These prizes are distributed among professors in the academic fields of Health Sciences, Experimental Sciences and Engineering, Social Sciences, and Social Sciences, Law, and Humanities. The awards are part of the Docentia-UMH Program, which has received a positive evaluation from ANECA (National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation).
