The UMH and the Association of the Advanced Tertiary Sector Association in the Valencian Community launch a new Chair in Business Growth.
The Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) and the Association the of Advanced Tertiary Sector in the Valencian Community have launched a new Chair in Business Growth this morning. The Rector of the UMH, Jesús Pastor Ciurana, and the President of the Association, José Javier García Zamora, have signed a collaborative agreement to launch this Chair.
The Director of the Chair will be the UMH professor of Agrienvironmental Economy, Cartographic Engineering and Graphic Expression in Engineering, Fernando Vidal Giménez. Meanwhile, the President of the Association of Advanced Tertiary Sector will be the codirector.
This new Chair has the following objectives: training and research, development and dissemination in the areas of business development and entrepreneurship, through activities, seminars and conferences. In particular, the Chair aims to help entrepreneurs from “La Nau de la Innovació” and members of “La Marató de Empreses UMH” to raise awareness about their projects needs. Moreover, one or two projects will be tutored during a year so that their projects will enable them to start a business.
