The UMH presents the Second Report on University Social Responsibility

The Rector of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) of Elche, Jesús Pastor Ciurana, along with the Director of the UMH Social Council, Francisco Borja, the Vice-Rector for Institutional Relations, María Teresa Pérez Vázquez, and the Assistant Vice-Rector for Social Responsibility, Sergio Hernández, presented the second UMH Social Responsibility Report (RSU), covering the 2010-2011 period and included within the fourth pillar of the academic institution’s 2009-2013 Strategic Plan.

With this document, the UMH joins the select group of Spanish universities that have a Social Responsibility Report. Furthermore, it is a pioneer in the use of university-specific, rather than business-related, indicators, which help to measure, monitor, and evaluate compliance with the UMH’s “Social Responsibility Policy and Commitment.”
