ORIGIN: Mediterranean region.

CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Evergreen tree with a straighter trunk than the Aleppo pine and a rounded crown, which takes on an umbrella shape when mature. Branches and bark are reddish-brown.

USES:

  • ORNAMENTAL: Used in gardens for its harmonious structure and shade.
