The opening ceremony of the 1st International Congress of Doctoral Students at Miguel Hernández University was attended by our Rector, Juan José Ruiz Martínez, the Vice-Rector for Research, Domingo Orozco Beltrán, and the Director General of Science and Research of the Regional Ministry of Innovation, Universities, Science and Digital Society, Ángel Carbonell Barrachina.

The Congress, which began today, February 2nd, at 9:00 a.m., has over 1,500 registered participants.

During the day, researcher Lluis Montoliu will give a lecture entitled “The Academic Doctorate as a Challenge and Opportunity to Advance Knowledge and Career Progress,” as well as several simultaneous panels and workshops on writing scientific articles (Juan Antonio Moreno), presenting research results (María Asunción Martínez Mayoral), the future of the doctoral student: what can I do after graduation (Manolo Castellano), and dissemination and transfer of research (Baldomero Coll Perales).
