In the 10th edition of the UMH University Management Innovation Week awards, each worth €2,000, the winning projects were: ‘AyudaEconUMH’ by Trinidad Maestre Miralles, Agustín Peñalver Tari, Victoria Eugenia González Penedo, and Joaquín García Aldeguer, from various departments; ‘UMH Solidaria’ by José Alberto Palma García, from the Communications Department; and the idea ‘Authentication through QR codes,’ proposed by Sergio Briongos Caballero from the Innovation and Technological Planning Department. The UMH University Management Innovation Week is coordinated by the Quality Service and promoted by the UMH Administration.
The “AyudaEconUMH” project proposes the creation of a comprehensive web platform for financial and administrative management. “UMH Solidaria” is a platform that compiles numerous charitable activities in the province of Alicante, enabling the UMH university community to participate. “Authentication via QR codes” allows users to scan a QR code displayed on the screen with their mobile phone, granting automatic access without entering a password.
Furthermore, the jury of the 10th “UMH University Management Innovation Week” Award has given an honorable mention to the “UMH Coexistence Program” proposal, submitted by Alicia Fernández Bodas and María Dolores Botella Alarcón from the Administration and Services Personnel Department. This program aims to implement a shared living arrangement between university students and elderly and/or disabled individuals who require daily support.
