The University and the Bar Association of Orihuela create the UMH-ICAO Chair of International Private Relations

The Rector of Miguel Hernández University (UMH), Juan José Ruiz, and the Dean of the Orihuela Bar Association (ICAO), Manuel Emilio Almarcha, signed an agreement this morning to create the UMH-ICAO Chair of International Private Relations. The Chair’s general objectives are training, research, development, and knowledge transfer in the field of Private International Law and related subjects.

The signing of the Agreement, held at the College’s facilities, was attended by the Chair’s director, Professor Alfonso Ortega of the UMH’s Private International Law Area; and the Chair’s secretary, Professor Lerdys Heredia.
