The UMH Foundation and Hidraqua collaborate to strengthen the business sector in the province of Alicante
Establishing a framework for collaboration on innovation and knowledge exchange is one of the objectives of the agreement signed this morning by Hidraqua and the UMH Foundation, the managing entity of the Miguel Hernández University Science Park (PCUMH) in Elche. The agreement was signed by the president of the UMH Foundation and rector, Juan José Ruiz, and the CEO of Hidraqua, Francisco Bartual.
Through this agreement, both entities seek to foster the development and strengthening of the business fabric in the province of Alicante, using training and technological innovation as key elements for increasing business competitiveness. To this end, various actions will be carried out to promote the exchange of experiences and the transfer of innovative knowledge applied to business. All of this aims to facilitate and stimulate the development of new business projects and the identification of innovative business initiatives. Also present at the signing were the managing director of the UMH Foundation, Tonia Salinas, and the head of Innovation at Hidraqua, Antonio Sánchez.
Furthermore, through this agreement, the two institutions will work together to identify and find solutions to various challenges posed by Hidraqua. They will also work to connect innovative and entrepreneurial talent and promote collaboration between companies and the innovation ecosystem. In addition, the entities commit to organizing workshops, events, and networking sessions of interest to both organizations.
Hidraqua is an organization dedicated to the sustainable management of the integrated water cycle in approximately one hundred municipalities in the Valencian Community. As part of its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, this organization actively collaborates to promote the development of the local community. To this end, it works on various initiatives framed within the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the roadmap contained in the Rewater Global Plan.
