The Alicante Blood Transfusion Center has awarded the Gold Medal to the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) of Elche for its “outstanding record as blood donors.” The rector of the UMH, Jesús Pastor Ciurana, accepted the award at a ceremony held at the Elche Congress Center.

Also attending the event were the Vice-Rector for Institutional Relations of the UMH, María Teresa Pérez Vázquez, the Deputy Vice-Rector for Institutional Relations, Miriam Hurtado, and the Deputy Vice-Rector for Institutional Relations for Social Responsibility, Sergio Hernández.
