The aim of the Family Business Management Course is to highlight the role of family businesses in the national and provincial economy, and to complement university students’ academic training with visits from local business owners who explain the unique characteristics that make family businesses an ideal place to develop a professional future. In addition, visits to companies within the province are encouraged to learn about their internal operations and how they address the various aspects that have made them unique and successful. Furthermore, the course provides training on crucial aspects of finding one’s first job, as well as tools for launching one’s own entrepreneurial venture.
