The Rector of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) of Elche, Jesús T. Pastor Ciurana, and the Vice-Rector for Students and Sports at the UMH, Francisco Moreno Hernández, presented the awards yesterday in the Aesthetics and Mobility categories of the 13th Bridge Design Competition. The first prize in the Aesthetics category went to the model “Paraboloid Bridge,” by Mario Rodríguez, an Architecture student at the University of Alicante (UA), while the winning bridge in the Mobility category was “Drone Bridge 2.0,” by Benjamín Rico, a student in the Electronic and Industrial Automation Engineering program at the UMH.
