With an oil portrait of Professor Jesús Rodríguez Marín by the painter Román Francés, the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) of Elche inaugurated the Rectors’ Gallery in the Governing Council Meeting Room. Rector Jesús Pastor Ciurana presided over this ceremony honoring his predecessor. Numerous members of the University’s Governing Council also attended the inauguration.

Professor Jesús Rodríguez Marín, Chair of Social Psychology, served as Rector of the UMH from its founding until May 2011. He is currently the Director of the University’s Center for Applied Psychology.
