The NeurotechEU management team at the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche (UMH) organized the biannual meeting of the alliance&#8217;s General Assembly and its Council of Rectors, which took place from November 4 to 6, 2025. The General Assembly brings together teaching and research staff, administrative personnel, and students from the partner universities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/protocolo.umh.es\/files\/2025\/11\/Rectorado-campus-Elche-2-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-43112\" src=\"https:\/\/protocolo.umh.es\/files\/2025\/11\/Rectorado-campus-Elche-2-2-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The meeting will be chaired by the Rector of the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University (UMH), Juan Jos\u00e9 Ruiz, and the Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Cooperation, Vicente Micol. Representing the UMH on the NeurotechEU Governing Council will be Juana Gallar, Director of the Institute of Neurosciences (UMH-CSIC), and Inmaculada Blaya, Director of the International Relations Office. Also attending will be Federico Botella, the Rector&#8217;s Delegate for Digital Transformation and an active member of the working group for the NeurotechEU Campus+ educational platform; several UMH professors involved in creating NeurotechEU educational content; and Professor of Physiology V\u00edctor Meseguer.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the General Assembly will celebrate the upcoming incorporation of the Medical University of Innsbruck (Austria) into NeurotechEU. At this event, both parties involved will reinforce their commitment to this expansion of the alliance.<\/p>\n<p>NeurotechEU is a project co-funded by the European Commission that aims to enhance the education and training of future professionals and researchers in the field of neurotechnology, with the goal of addressing health problems related to neuroscience and mental health through accessible technologies.
