Professor Juan Jos\u00e9 Ruiz Mart\u00ednez of the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University (UMH) of Elche was sworn in this morning as rector, a position he will hold for the next six years. Following the rector’s swearing-in, the rest of the UMH’s leadership team also took office.<\/p>\n

The new team includes, in addition to Professor Juan Jos\u00e9 Ruiz Mart\u00ednez, the Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Cooperation, Vicente Micol Molina; the Vice-Rector for Research and Transfer, \u00c1ngel Carbonell Barrachina; the Vice-Rector for Studies, Susana Fern\u00e1ndez de \u00c1vila L\u00f3pez; the Vice-Rector for Infrastructure, Pedro Vicente Quiles; the Vice-Rector for Culture, Equality, and Diversity, Mar\u00eda Asunci\u00f3n Amor\u00f3s Marco; the Vice-Rector for Faculty, Jos\u00e9 Carlos Espigares Huete; the Vice-Rector for Planning and Social Responsibility, Domingo Orozco Beltr\u00e1n; and the Vice-Rector for Students and Coordination, Jos\u00e9 Juan L\u00f3pez Esp\u00edn. The Vice-Rector for Economics and Society, Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 L\u00f3pez S\u00e1nchez; the General Secretary, Mercedes S\u00e1nchez Castillo; and the Manager, Emma Benlloch Marco.<\/p>\n
