Marie Johnston is a clinical and health psychologist, registered in the United Kingdom. She is a member of scientific and academic societies, both in the fields of psychology and medicine, such as the Academy of Medical Sciences, the Royal Society of Edinburgh, the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, the Academy of Learned Societies for the Social Sciences, the British Psychological Society, the American Society of Behavioral Medicine, the European Society of Health Psychology, and the Behavioral Sciences and Public Health Network. In addition to her work at the University of Aberdeen, she has worked at the universities of St. Andrews, London, and Oxford. He has also received numerous awards and recognitions from scientific and professional societies around the world.<\/p>\n
His research has focused on the prediction and explanation of disability and behavioral change in health, always based on the solid foundation of thought provided by theory and the rigor of measurement methodology. With more than 400 publications, his work has broken new ground.<\/p>\n
