<\/a><\/p>\nIn addition to the UMH Rector and Councilor Pascual Villalobos, the ceremony was presided over by the President of the UMH Board of Trustees, Joaqu\u00edn P\u00e9rez V\u00e1zquez; the Rector of the University of Alicante, Amparo Navarro Faure; and the Rector of the Universitat Jaume I of Castell\u00f3n, Eva Alc\u00f3n Soler.<\/p>\n
The event was also attended by the Mayor of Elche, Carlos Gonz\u00e1lez, as well as the Rector of the European University of Valencia, Rosa Sanchidrian Pardo, among other dignitaries.<\/p>\n
During the ceremony, the Secretary General of the University, Mercedes S\u00e1nchez Castillo, read the 2020\/2021 Academic Year Report, and then the Director of the Sports Research Center (CID) of the UMH and University Professor, Francisco Javier Moreno, gave the inaugural lecture, entitled “Training Dosage in Sport: Science and Evidence.” Likewise, awards were presented to teaching and research staff (PDI) and administrative and administrative staff (PAS) who ceased to provide services during the 2020\/2021 academic year due to death or contract termination, and the video “A Year in Pictures” was screened.<\/p>\n
