At the same ceremony, \u00c1ngela Nieto, a researcher at the Institute of Neurosciences, a joint center of the UMH and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), was also honored. The awards ceremony was held yesterday at the Alicante Provincial Council Auditorium (ADDA).<\/p>\n<p>Professor Ali\u00f3 received this award for being included among the world&#8217;s one hundred most influential specialists in Ophthalmology, while also demonstrating his commitment to charitable work.
