Gordon L. Amidon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During the solemn Academic Ceremony of Saint Thomas Aquinas, the Rector of the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche awarded Gordon L. Amidon, a pharmacy researcher, an honorary doctorate. Mar\u00eda del Val Bermejo Sanz, Professor of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy (UMH), served as sponsor of the new honorary doctorate.<\/p>\n<p>The Jos\u00e9 Lled\u00f3 y Ant\u00f3n Award for University Freedom and Autonomy was also presented to Antonio Miguel Nogu\u00e9s Pedregal, Professor of Social Anthropology at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy (UMH), for his work &#8220;University academic freedom in the current order of words and things.
