The Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University (UMH) of Elche held the Official Opening Ceremony of the 2014\/2015 Academic Year this morning. The rector of the UMH, Jes\u00fas Pastor Ciurana, presided over the ceremony, where the “End of Service” awards were presented to members of the university community, and Mr. Antonio Fraguas de Pablo “Forges” was conferred an Honorary Doctorate.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was attended, among other dignitaries, by the Director General of University, Higher Education, and Science, Felipe Palau Ram\u00edrez; the president of the UMH Board of Trustees, Francisco Borja Miralles; and the rector of the Jaume I University of Castell\u00f3n, Vicent Climent Jord\u00e1.<\/p>\n
