During the solemn ceremony of St. Thomas Aquinas, Dr. María Josefa Yzuel Giménez, Professor of Optics, was honoured the Doctor Honoris Causa award by the UMH. Furthermore, in this ceremony the UMH also celebrated the commencement of 81 Doctors of Philosophy (PhD.) and granted 40 Oustanding Degree Awards, 30 diplomas to faculty members, 15 awards for Outstanding Doctoral Research and 11 diplomas to the “Bancaja Emerging Research Groups”.
